Le Pignatte® Induction Cocotte Casserole with Lid

Le Pignatte® Induction Cocotte Casserole with Lid

The Le Pignatte® Cocotte Casserole is made of cast aluminum both the base and the lid so it is more manageable than cast iron but has the same heat distribution performance. Easy to clean thanks to a brand new nonstick technology called Profile by Chemours that is PFOA and very scratch-resistant. Black bakelite knobs withstand up to 220°C adapting to all heat sources, including induction. 7 mm thick.

SOME MORE INFORMATION

The Le Pignatte® line revisits the casserole tradition by using modern materials such as durable, lightweight die-cast aluminum for both the base and the lid, coating them with Profile ‘s new nonstick coating on the entire surface, protecting Le Pignatte® over time even from the wear and tear of baking.

USE

First, remove all labels on the product, after which take a paper towel lightly soaked in oil and wipe it all over the nonstick.

At this point you can put the product on the induction cooktop and begin to preheat it. Le Pignatte® Cooking Tools have the unique feature of having cast aluminum lids that allow the juices to fall out while cooking. This then makes the foods very soft and the heat spreads as in the oven.

IMPORTANT : With Risolì extra induction products, use the maximum temperature of 4-5 on the power scale from 1-10 on your cooktop, which will not only save you money on energy costs, but will prevent your Risolì from overheating in a very short time and damaging its coating.

COOKING WITH REAL MADE IN ITALY

It means always making sure that the words Made in Italy are engraved on the product and not “pasted” with a simple label is synonymous with the guarantee of the supply chain.

SOME TIPS

Do not overheat the vacuum product too much; a 5-minute preheating will be sufficient.

Make sure your induction hob is clean and free of salt and/or debris that can scratch the hob. Our induction bottom is solid-that’s why heat distribution is 50% more efficient than other induction bottoms with dots, geometries, or patterns.

As with all PREMIUM products if we want them to last a lifetime we recommend not abusing their strength: better to use wooden, plastic or silicone kitchen utensils instead of steel, and better not to store acidic foods such as tomatoes for a long time inside because they may corrode.

After use, clean your Risolì with a mild detergent under lukewarm water (we recommend our GreenClean detergent) after which immediately dry it carefully with a clean cloth. With Le Pignatte® you can also use the dishwasher but on a gentle cycle and possibly with nonaggressive detergents (we do not recommend tablets). Remember that the dishwasher may blacken the aluminum bottom by oxidation.
